Callen Soper
Coach Calleen Soper is one of our head coaches for the 2026/2027 season. Last season she was head coach of our 15 Premier Team and demonstrated she is an outstanding coach. Cal has an impressive volleyball background, having played collegiate volleyball as a right-side hitter at Limestone University (Gaffney, SC), where she earned her bachelor’s degree in communication. You may also see Coach Cal playing outdoor tournaments all around the state! She earned a master's degree in journalism at the University of South Carolina. Cal is a remarkable young woman, and we are incredibly fortunate to have her on our staff! Welcome back Coach Cal!

Courtney Vernon
Coach Courtney will be returning to our staff for 2026/2027 after an outstanding first year as an assistant coach on our 15 Premier team. Coach Courtney is originally from Spartanburg, SC and is in her third year of graduate school at the University of South Carolina. She started playing volleyball in 5th grade, continued through high school, and played club volleyball for 8 years. Coach Courtney shares, "Staying active has always been a big part of my life, and many of my favorite memories growing up involve playing sports with friends. I am beyond excited to coach with Carolina Sky again and look forward to another great year of growth, teamwork, and competition!" Welcome back Coach Courtney!

Ashleigh Long
Carolina Sky is excited that Coach Ashleigh Long will be returning as an assistant coach. Last season she was an outstanding assistant coach on our 12 Premier team. Ashleigh has been playing club volleyball since she was in 7th grade. She was a three-year varsity starter on the Mid-Carolina High School team and was a team captain. As a senior she was selected as an All-Region player and selected for the All-State team. After she graduates Ashleigh hopes to attend Midlands Technical College and major in Radiological Technology. Welcome back Coach Ashleigh!

Annie Dill
Coach Annie Dill is our 13 Premier Coach. Coach Annie is from Jacksonville, Florida and started playing volleyball at age 11. She is currently a Senior at Newberry College (Newberry, SC) where she is a setter on the Women's Volleyball Team. Coach Annie had two great seasons with us at Carolina Sky. She has an extensive knowledge of the game and loves sharing that knowledge with her athletes.

Lindsey Green
Carolina Sky is thrilled to announce the hiring of Lindsey Green as our 16 Elite Assistant Coach. Coach Lindsey is a former collegiate volleyball player at Newberry College. She has been involved with volleyball for 12 years, both as a player and youth coach. Lindsey is from Apex, NC where she played club volleyball for 6 years at Triangle Volleyball Club. She is currently finishing her undergraduate degree in Business Administration at Newberry College and plans to continue to get her Masters degree. Coach Lindsey was a middle blocker during her career, and she has experience with every hitting position. She shares, “Volleyball has taught me many life lessons and has allowed me to form many lifelong relationships that I would not have been able to experience otherwise. As a coach, I now hope to inspire young individuals and teach them that there are no limits to achieving their dreams.”

Alexa Dos Santos
We are honored to have Coach Alexa Dos Santos coaching at Carolina Sky again after an outstanding first season. Coach Alexa will be our 12 Premier Assistant Coach. Alexa is currently a sophomore outside hitter on the Women's Volleyball Team at Newberry College. She is from Denver, NC and has been playing volleyball for 8 years. Prior to playing in college, she played for the Carolina Juniors Club. Alexa shared, “This sport has given me so much and I am so grateful for this journey. I am super excited to be a part of Carolina Sky Volleyball Club once again this year and share my passion for the game with the future of this sport!” Welcome back Coach Alexa, we are so fortunate to have you on our Carolina Sky team!

Anna Schneider
Coach Anna is originally from Cincinnati, OH but now lives in Greenville, SC. She played club volleyball for 8 years at Elevation and Stars Volleyball Club. She was a three year varsity player at Mauldin High School and won the 5A state championship her senior year. Currently, she is about to start her senior year at Newberry College, where she has been a starter since her freshman year, as an outside hitter. She has three years of coaching experience with Stars Volleyball Club. Coach Anna shared, "I am so blessed and cannot wait to continue my coaching career with the Carolina Sky family!"
